Important Information about Your Property

DURING YOUR STAY

  • Ski and snowboard boots are NOT to be worn inside the property
  • Dirty dishes are to be washed and put away, or placed in the dishwasher and turned on,otherwise excess cleaning charges will apply.
  • Furniture is to be returned to its original position,otherwise excess cleaning charges will apply.
  • All lights and AC/Heating is to be turned on on departure

FRIDGE

There is a water canister in the fridge side of the refrigerator. Ten litre water bottles are available – five at the entrance to the unit, three in the pantry and one part empty on the kitchen bench next to the fridge. To refill the canister gently pull out the canister, remove the white lid and fill to the mark shown on the end of the canister. Replace the white lid making sure it is property fitted and place into the plastic guide on the shelf and gently push into the hole at the back of the shelf. There will follow a pumping sound which feeds the water to the ice maker and cold water facility. If there is no pumping sound gently partially pull out the canister again and firmly push back into the hole at the back of the shelf. The water canister must be checked daily.

TELEVISION/FOXTEL/NETFLIX

Facilities are freely available with the exception of “Store” (movie purchases) on Foxtel.

WASHING MACHINE

For those guests not familiar with this washing machine. At the Control Panel of the machine, turn the round control to the “Easy Care” cycle and then on the left side of the Control Panel touch select require temperature, then touch screen spin speed (third on left of panel) – do not press any other touch pads on the controls. Then proceed and press the Start button. When the washing cycle is finished the clothes will then need to be removed from the machine and placed in the dryer above the washing machine. When the clothes dryer is finished please remove the filter, empty the filter and replace after each load.

DRYING ROOM

The column heater inside the drying room, at the bottom of the stairs, requires the power plug into the power socket and turned on. Outside the drying room there is a second switch which must also be turned on for the heater in the drying room to work.

FRONT AND REAR ENTRANCE DOORS

These doors and locks are tight fitting and guest must make sure that the doors are property closed before locking.

COLUMN HEATERS

Please ensure that no clothes etc. are placed over these heaters at any time.

Heating and Cooling

The heater is currently set to 20 degrees centigrade, and the upper-level room temperature is controlled thermostaticallyto within 3 degrees.

1.On the gas fire, drop down the rectangular cover below the glass at the front of the screen and turn on both switches at the same time.

2.Hold the hand control toward the heater about two metres away, press the “mode” button until “ON THERMO” appears; (it may show THERMO OFF” then change to “ON THERMO”;

3.Ignition should follow shortly.

4.If you need to increase the thermostat temperature press “SET” then tap the arrow up on the screen to the desired temperature (no more than 23 degrees centigrade) and then press “SET” again – the temperature is now reset.

5.To turn off the heater press the mode button to “ROOM OFF” and turn off both switches as described under the rectangular cover at the front of the heat. The heater fan will turn off automatically when the heater has cooled down.

WHEN THE TEMPERATURE OF THE ROOM IS REACHED THE THERMOSTAT WILL SHUT OFF THE BACK BURNER IN THE HEATER AND OPERATE ON THE FRONT BURNER ONLY. THE BURNERS WILL GO ON AND OFF AUTOMATICALLY ACCORDING TO THE ROOM TEMPERATURE.

USE THE CEILING FAN WITH THE HEATER ON. THE FAN IS PRESET TO WINTER MODE (ANTI CLOCKWISE) AND THIS WILL DISPERSE THE HOT AIR THROUGHOUT THE UPPER LEVEL, TO THE KITCHEN AND DOWN THE CORRIDOR.

Rubbish

Bin Location: At the building Entry. Bins collection day is Monday (recycling) and Friday (rubbish) , a contractor will come to the property to put the bins in/out.
